I am on 25 medications, including four nebulized solutions (twice a day) every day to treat my illnesses. It impacts every area of my life. I had to drop out of school with just four courses left to earn my Bachelors degree in communication media. Due to my highly compromised immune system, I continue to be under a stay at home order from my doctors, and Covid and other contagious illnesses could be deadly to me. I am unable to be vaccinated because I have experienced anaphylaxis after getting a shot. I have to wear an N-95 mask only leave home for medical and dental emergencies.

I advocate to educate others and am working to pass legislation to help others struggling with rare diseases, particularly those who don't have answers. Speaking out enables me to be part of the solution.
