On Wednesday, June 29, the Idaho Department of Insurance released a final version of Bulletin 16-04, which sets official guidelines for third-party health insurance payments. The bulletin took effect immediately.
While the Chronic Disease Coalition remains concerned over the final bulletin’s language, we’d also like to recognize and thank the nearly 200 patients, medical professionals and other concerned citizens who made their voices heard during the public comment period in Idaho in May. Advocacy is the most powerful tool we have in the fight to secure access to care for people with chronic conditions. We can all work together to defend patients’ rights.
